Leaving for California

Flying to San Diego on wednesday to visit my good old friend, Ann. It has been 9 years, and I can't wait to see her again. However, I am having mixed feelings about visiting the U.S. while the country is engaged in Iraq. I also want Saddam removed, but...well, I guess I just don't like the idea that the U.N. can be circumvented that easily. I find it extremely disturbing that the U.S. and U.K. decision to wage war on Iraq - allegedly to replace a regime with a democracy (which I am all in favor of...) - was made in blatent disregard of the dominent opinion to give the inspectors more time, and therefore (per definition) undemocratic.... I need a vacation.

Just found this fantastic and very swedish mp3-player: Jens of Sweden. I am currently considering it a serious competitor to this 256 MB iAudio player w/FM and voice recording. I love Swedes, but both players come highly recommended. Other favorite swedish things: Girls.se

My very good friends Lars and Mikkel just showed me this blogger-thingy. At the moment this seems like a "Dear Diary"-kind of thing - except you share your private thoughts with people you don't necessarily know. Interesting concept.
